STN, Student Television Network, is a student film festival that has rigorous competitions each day you are there. There is a "crazy-8s" competition where you must complete a film, or newscast, in under 8 hours. You can also choose what other competitions to enter, such as a silent film.
 

ASB4STATE is similar to STN, as it is a film competition. Instead of being weeklong, though, it only takes place for a few days. Click "view more" to see what I accomplished over the few days! 

Golden Lion Film Festival allowed students to submit their films and news stories to their website for a potential award. When there, they had speakers come from across the nation from high end television series, like the director from the series "Lost."

The German-American Partnership Program allowed me to expand and explore different German cultures and the German Language 

National Honors Society, or NHS, was a goal of mine since the beginning of high school. to join, you must have a weighted GPA of 4.65. School, like film, has always been important to me and allows me to push for greater things.
